Ghost Town Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What time does it begin and end?
A. Gates open at 7:00pm and the last ticket is sold at 10:30pm, 24th and 28th at 9:30pm, No tickets will be sold after 10:30pm. The ghost and ghouls need their rest, too!
Q. How much does it cost for admission?
A. $13 for adults and children 13 years of age and over. Cash only.
On the Kids Zone Day: $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under.
Adults must accompany all children that day.
Q. How do I get tickets?
A. Tickets are sold nightly at the event gate. There are no advance ticket sales. Payment is by cash only. There are several cash machines near the gate.
Q. How many times does my ticket allow me to go through?
A. One ticket admits you through the attraction one time. If you want to go through multiple times, you must buy a ticket for each time you want to go through. If, for any reason, you need to exit before you finish the attraction, you will not get a refund or another ticket to return. There are no refunds or exchanges.
Q. Is there anything I should be warned about ahead of time?
A. There are fog machines, lighting effects and special effects in use. We use both live actors and non-moving props. Props, actors and effects might confuse and disorient you. If you sleep with all the lights on or in your parents’ bed, this is not for you!
Q. Is this event safe? Is it handicap-accessible?
A. We do not use any open flames, moving floors or anything that would obstruct your path to an exit. The exits are clearly marked and there is absolutely NO SMOKING! We are handicap-accessible but must be notified ahead of time if you are handicapped and attending. The ending of the attraction will be different for handicapped people.
Q. How long does it take to go through?
A. It takes about 15 minutes from start to finish. Your ghost host, Mayor McGhoul, will guide you through. The more you run from the ghosts the quicker it takes.
Q. Will the ghosts grab me?
A. No ghosts/actors will touch any of the patrons. The patrons are not to touch any of the ghosts/actors or the sets and props. If you are caught touching anyone or anything, you will be ejected with no refund. No foul language or bad behavior will be tolerated and are grounds for ejection, at our discretion. We have eyes in the back of our heads and can see in the dark.
Q. Will it be too scary for my children?
A. The attraction is geared for people 13 years and up. Anyone who scares easily will find this attraction frightening. Children 12 and under are not recommended for attendance on regular nights. We suggest they attend on Kids Zone Day. You are responsible for your children at all times, crying or otherwise. Use your own discretion; you know your child the best.
Q. Is there parking?
A. There are several public parking lots in Provincetown near the attraction. We recommend the lot at Fisherman’s Wharf in the center of town, which is the closest. Parking is plentiful during the off-season.
